Terms of Service

1. The service
cntr.ppj.lt (the "service") is a free visitor counter for websites, run by a private individual, Darius Rapalis (Lithuania, info@rdarius.lt). By registering or using a counter you agree to these terms. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 14 years old to register. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian agrees.
- Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Usernames must not be offensive or impersonate someone else.
3. Counters
- Only add counters to websites you own or are allowed to manage.
- Counter names, website addresses and statistics are public (in the website list and on the counter's statistics page) unless you tick "Don't show in the public list". The numbers shown on the counter image itself are always visible to your visitors.
- You are responsible for telling your website's visitors that you use the counter, for example in your own privacy policy, with a link to our Privacy Policy. The counter sets no cookies and stores nothing on your visitors' devices.
4. What is not allowed
You may not use the service:
- on websites with content that is illegal under Lithuanian or EU law, including child sexual abuse material, content inciting hatred or violence, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- on websites that spread malware, phishing or fraud, or for spam;
- to inflate counters artificially (bots, scripted hits) or in ways that disrupt the service or other users, including attacks, scanning for vulnerabilities and automated registrations.
Adult content is allowed, as long as it is legal and your website follows the rules that apply to it (such as age restrictions).
5. What we may do
If these terms are broken, we may suspend the account, hide or delete the counters concerned or the account, and block abusive traffic, where necessary without prior notice. A suspended account can only be used to log in and see the reason; its counters stop counting and show that they were removed. If you think a suspension is a mistake, write to info@rdarius.lt.
6. Availability
The service is free and provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running and the numbers accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy of the statistics or that data will never be lost. We may change the service. If it is discontinued, this will be announced on the website at least 30 days in advance where possible.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or lost data resulting from using or being unable to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intentional acts or gross negligence.
8. Ending the use of the service
You can delete your account, with all its counters and statistics, at any time on the Account page. Accounts that haven't been used for 2 years (no login, and no hits on any of their counters) are deleted automatically, without notice.
9. Rights to the content
The service, its design and the counter images belong to the operator; you may embed your counters on your websites for as long as your account exists. You keep the rights to the names you give your counters and allow us to show them as described in section 3.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top is updated, and significant changes are announced on the website at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. We will try to resolve any disagreement by talking first: write to info@rdarius.lt. Otherwise, disputes are decided by the courts of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
These terms are available in Lithuanian and English; if they differ, the Lithuanian version applies.
